  Water Insight (WI) has over 15 years of experience in water quality monitoring with satellite data and worked on monitoring red tides together with (scientific) partners in Spain, the Netherlands and South Africa. Next to that, WI has developed, produced, and sold unique in situ optical instruments (WISPstation) to monitor ecological water quality and to calibrate and validate satellite products. 

 Kaune Engineering & Science, is a Costa Rican company with over 11 years of experience, providing professional services on project management for the sustainable development of the construction, environmental, and tourism sector. Company’s senior consultant and scientist, Alexander Kaune, has major international experience in the field of efficient and sustainable water management, including the application of local algorithms to develop water monitoring services.

  The Centro de Recursos Hídricos para Centroamérica y el Caribe (HIDROCEC) from Universidad Nacional (UNA), Costa Rica, aims to contribute to the maintenance of a healthy and sustainable environment through research, innovation and training, on issues related to the Integrated Management of Water Resources. UNA-HIDROCEC has solid scientific knowledge and project experience in water quality monitoring in the northern pacific coastline of Costa Rica, specifically in the Gulf of Papagayo.
